Juliette Rougier

Born in Paris in 2000, Juliette Rougier trained in global design (product design, interior architecture, graphic design) at L’Ecole Bleue, following a baccalaureate in STDAA (Sciences and Techniques of Applied Arts). Currently a master’s student at the École Supérieure d’Art & de Design Marseille-Méditerranée, her projects sit at the intersection of industrial design, art, and craftsmanship. With material as her primary source of inspiration, she explores forms and uses that blend functionality with poetry, always with a focus on efficiency. Her shapes emerge from a search for balance between spontaneity and function. In 2021, she was a finalist in the Concours du Mobilier National for a range of school furniture and received the Jury’s Heart Award at the 14th edition of the Cinna Révélateurs de Talents competition. She was also a finalist in the Massilia Design competition with a set of table accessories. In 2022, she signed her first collaboration with Ligne Roset, launching the Naïf collection, and exhibited a line of furniture made from Provence cane at the Musée d’Histoire de Marseille, crafted from leftovers of a local company.
