In work like Perles, the artists explore accumulation as a fundamental sculptural principle of the totem. Stacked ceramic elements recall the stringing eroded fragments shaped by time, suggesting a form constructed through repetition rather than design. The work unfolds across multiple scales of perception, from the overall balance of the form to the microcrystalline structures of the glaze, where surface and depth reveal a dense material memory shaped by firing and transformation.
