CORIOLIS is part of a research project focused on 3D printing in ceramics, where materiality and technological processes intersect to produce hybrid sculptural forms. This piece questions the notions of sculpture and use through an approach to fabrication that is both rational and intuitive. The work is based on an undulating effect, creating a visual dynamism that refers to the physical phenomenon of the Coriolis effect, a force that affects objects in motion within a rotating frame of reference. This principle is translated plastically through waves and subtle shifts in the construction of the volume.
