Launched in 2024 by Nathalie Guiot, a curator, collector, and founder of the Thalie Foundation, Aleor emerged from the 'Regenerative Futures' manifesto exhibition. The gallery has two main objectives: a publishing gallery that promotes Biodesign and an agency that advises companies and designers on creating more environmentally friendly products made from renewable and bio-sourced materials.
The founder has dual expertise in the fields of eco-design and contemporary art, as an exhibition curator and art collector. She is a member of the scientific committee for the Ecodesign and Creation chair at ENSAD and serves on the design acquisition committee at the Centre Pompidou and the Visual Arts acquisition committee at CNAP (2021-2024). Nathalie Guiot promotes ecological narratives through her 2020 podcast series, Créateurs urgence climat, and supports the emerging contemporary art scene. With Aleor Craft & Biodesign, she focuses on Biodesign as a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels.
